The Befriending Lewis & Harris project (run by Volunteering Hebrides) is a community-driven initiative operating out of Stornoway to combat loneliness and social isolation. They offer one-to-one companionship, group events, and telephone support to help residents stay connected.
The project operates out of the Third Sector Hebrides headquarters in Stornoway.
